I guess it's a good sign when, even though I'm not working, I have plenty of side jobs to keep me busy! lol I'm actually in the middle of three logo design jobs, one of which is for a clothing company called Naarai whom I'm also designing designs for their tees. That right there was all God! I was going into Calvary Chapel bookstore to ask if I could set up a meeting with the Mgr to show my tees and stickers when I met the founder(?) of Naarai clothing, and the rest is history. Didn't see that one coming! lol So I've been busy both researching alot of designing styles from other companies such as Volcom and Lost to get an idea of what's out there. My creativity has been challenged as of late, but it's a good challenge and I'm growing and learning more about design, esp. tee design. Of course, I've been working on my own stuff as well for Onoma but I can easily forget the obligations I have with these other clients, so I design here and there when I can.
I'll be getting this hard cast off next Thurs. thank God. It's been challenging using my left hand for pretty much everything, with a little help from my right at times. Writing with my left hand has been the most challenging thing so far! You should try it! lol But I'm getting around okay, day by day. One big bummer as a result of this injury is I had to drop my NT class because it was in La Mirada, and driving was not an option for me at that point! I was so bummed, I was like 'Lord, why? Why now??' This injury has been one big mountain that has caused a few setbacks in my life. I just pray that the Lord brings me through it! =)
