The boys spent the night this weekend, which was nice since I got to spend an early Christmas with both of them, and I'm sure they were loving it! So we pretty much treated Sunday morning like it was Monday morning and opened just their gifts that morning. I can't believe how much Isaiah is talking now! I mean, last year he didn't make much of a big deal about Christmas gifts at all, but this year...boy did he have alot to say! Like "What did you get me? Oh...let me guess...it's...a skateboard!" "Nope." "Oh wait. Let me guess...it's..." Well, you get the picture. And that was pretty much 75% of the conversation the night before. lol But I thought that was interesting.
After they opened their presents and played for a bit, my mom treated us all to go watch Charlotte's Web. All in all I have to say it was pretty good. They liked it, too. It's hard to tell at this point which movies will keep Isaiah's attention all the way through, but this one actually kept his attention the whole way through. Sometimes about 2/3 of the way through, he'll start asking if we can go, even if it's an animated movie. So yeah, it's hard to tell sometimes.
I was definitely blessed having them both over, and I know they'll be blessed again tomorrow morning with Annamarie and Grandma & Grandpa and more presents. For some reason, though, I wasn't feeling too well tonite. My throat was feeling sore like a cold was coming on. Noooo...not on a 4-day weekend! That would be just great wouldn't it! Well, if I am sick, at least I only have a 3-day week, and I almost forgot, another 4-day weekend! Yes!!! Oh I love this job! lol Well...I didn't even expect this much time off, but apparently we are doing well in sales right now, so I guess the owners can afford to pay us for all this time off. Thank you Lord for such a blessing! He definitely is good. =)
