If you enjoy listening to a balance of music with and without vocals, both ambient and with an edge, and sometimes very dreamy, then I recommend Tapsonic. The indietronic band out of Chicago, Illinois has just released their latest album called Arbitrary Letters and Numbers, a nice 14 track long CD at a great price and makes for a perfect blend of the above, now available at both CD Baby and Amazon. By far, my favorite (for now anyways) is the track that starts it off, Waiting, a nice mellow tune with beautiful, soaring vocals that literally take me back to the 80's era of newave. They are also great at engaging with their audience and do so frequently on Facebook, as well as recommending other artists that may appeal to their fans, a very honorable and selfless practice in my opinion!
They also created a recent remix of Metric's Gimme Sympathy which I posted below for your hearing pleasure and yes, it's definitely worth listening to! You can actually download this remix for free here.
Tapsonic, along with having a strong name for itself to begin with, will no doubt keep you guessing in each new venture they take on. I definitely recommend following them and taking a look at their other projects as well! :)
